The day in the body of a honey badger.
I woke up. Still hungry after a measly dinner.
I look at my hands. Transformed into paws.
Covered with thick skin.
I am some kind of animal.
I look around me.
There is some kind of burrow.
A glimpse of light show the exit from the burrow.
After a minute of struggle with some fallen dirt I get out of the burrow.
I see a glimmer.
There's a shallow body of water.
I wait for it to calm and look.
I see a honey badger. That much is clear. I watched some impressive documentaries with them on TV.
There's that... but I am still hungry.
I see a particularly rocky plain ahead and start turning the rocks over.
Finally I found a delicious snake that almost escaped. I crushed its skull and clawed at the skin.
It could not stand up to my strong claws.
Even after this moderately sized snake I have to eat at least four times because of my rapid metabolism.
I manage to catch some gerbils, a frog and by the end of the day I am rewarded with a beehive full of the sweetest bee on could find.
What is happiness if not this?
