Living under the ground can have benefits, such as : you are protected from both natural and men-made disaster .
Despite this , living underground presents a diversity of risks : it is much harder to grow food, not having natural light,plants can't grow normally, low temperature all the time and the lack of resources a normal man would have living up ground.
